D J Evans Funeral Directors is a family owned business, established in 1948. The company was founded by David J Evans, his son Selwyn is now at the helm. Our offices are based in Aberystwyth, Penrhyncoch and Machynlleth and more recently we have incorporated W H Daniell Funeral Directors of Aberystwyth into our company as a result of Mr Harry Daniell’s retirement.

We are a well-established family owned and run business offering a reputable, dedicated, sympathetic, sensitive and professional service to our customers. Our staff are all trained to deal with clients in an understanding and sympathetic manner at a time of great sorrow. We assure you that at all times you can expect individual attention, compassion and dignity.

Throughout our time serving the community, we have always held the local traditions of those who have passed, but we have never been slow to recognise the need for change and act upon it. We are members of The National Federation of Funeral Directors and The National Society of Allied and Independent Funeral Directors.
